Stop here for the best poboys and seafood in Amite and the surrounding area!! The platters and poboys are loaded up with fried shrimp! Huge boiled shrimp! Super flavorful crawfish! The staff working there are very very very friendly and helpful!!

I found this place on Yelp. We were in the area after going to The Tulip Festival in Loranger. The Seafood Shack had a great rating so we decided to try it. Well let me tell you, they have the best boiled crawfish that I have ever had. We had crawfish, corn, potatoes, and then decided to try the fried shrimp and oysters because all the locals were eating this. We will definitely go back. The locals were so friendly.
